Canyon X & Upper Antelope

For those looking for a more physical experience of slot canyon country, we offer hiking tours year round. Overland Canyon Tours offers a tour that will take you to both Canyon X & Antelope Canyon. This tour is for the hikers who want to experience two slot canyons in one day.

Canyon X is short but steep. A rocky path takes you to a dark vertical cleft in the rock. Upon walking into Canyon X you are instantly in awe of the magnitude, size, and the amazing colors and formations. Because you are essentially underground the canyons temperature is always 10 degrees cooler.

Antelope Canyon, located outside of Page is one of the most breathtaking places on earth. Gently carved from the Navajo sandstone over the course of countless millenia, the slot canyon has majestic and narrow passages, just enough space for a small group to walk the sandy floor - and for the occasional shafts of sunlight to shine down from above.

This tour last about 5 hours and the cost is $140.00 per person including tax and Navajo Park with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6. You have your choice of time to leave our office, you can leave at 8:15 am or 10:15 am and go to Antelope first and then to Canyon X or between April and October we can leave at 7:00 am and return by noon. On this tour time you will go to Canyon X first and then to Antelope.

This is a fabulous opportunity to witness the results of eons of Nature's magic as it sculpts rock using wind, water, and time. The incredible beauty of these formations will captivate your imagination and leave you breathless.

These tours are guided by area experts who will give you an overview of the geology, flora, fauna, and wildlife of the area. We provide transportation to and from the trail-head, drinking water, and our guide is with you for the entire hike. Custom hikes may be arranged
